Job description

The role

Clarivoy is looking for a hands-on B2B marketer who can turn strategy into execution.

This role spans demand generation, marketing operations and campaign execution. You will take a business objective or campaign idea and turn it into a complete go-to-market motion: identifying the audience, developing the campaign plan, building the assets and automation, coordinating Sales activation, launching the campaign and measuring what happened.

This is not a role for someone who only manages agencies or coordinates work across specialists. You should be comfortable building the campaign yourself.

What this role isn't

Clarivoy partners with specialists where specialization makes sense. Paid search and paid social platform execution stays with our performance marketing agency — you should understand performance marketing well enough to evaluate results, give direction and fold paid media into a broader campaign, but you won't be our media buyer. Invoice processing, award administration and routine event shipping and logistics also sit outside this role.

Why this role

This role is intentionally designed for someone who wants more ownership than a traditional marketing operations position.

You'll work directly with Clarivoy's CMO, who built and ran the marketing organization at TrueCar Marketing Solutions and PureCars, and you'll have visibility into how marketing strategy, product launches, Sales, Client Success and executive leadership come together inside an automotive technology company.

You'll be expected to execute from day one, and you'll also be deliberately developed beyond demand generation and marketing operations — with direct exposure to event strategy, positioning, PR, executive communications, product marketing and go-to-market leadership.

We are deliberately building a path to Director title, and the person who does this job well will be a candidate for it.

How we'll measure success

In your first 30 days: understand our market, audiences, products and Sales motion; complete an audit of our HubSpot marketing infrastructure; identify the highest-priority execution gaps and recommend what to fix, simplify or eliminate; and build and launch at least one complete campaign, from audience development through Sales follow-up and measurement.

By 90 days: every campaign you commit to launches on or before the agreed date, and any risk to a date is raised before the deadline rather than after it. Core HubSpot lifecycle stages, routing and campaign tracking pass a documented audit. Marketing has baseline performance across owned demand-generation campaigns. Event campaigns have documented pre-event targeting and post-event follow-up. And campaign reporting clearly identifies what worked, what didn't and what should change next.

Job responsibilities

These are listed in priority order. The first two are the job. The rest matter and you own them, but when everything lands in the same week, you should know where your attention goes.

Demand generation & campaign execution

  • Own campaigns from idea through launch, measurement and optimization
  • Develop and execute campaigns targeting automotive dealers, dealer groups, agencies, partners and other strategic accounts
  • Build campaign audiences and named-account lists using account, persona, lifecycle, behavioral and engagement data
  • Create coordinated campaigns across email, LinkedIn, website, Sales outreach, 1:1 account activation and events
  • Partner with Sales on messaging, account activation, follow-up and handoff strategies
  • Test audiences, messaging, offers, subject lines, timing and campaign approaches
  • Track campaign engagement, meetings generated, conversion and pipeline contribution
  • Coordinate with our performance marketing agency when paid media supports a broader campaign

HubSpot & marketing automation

  • Serve as the hands-on owner of marketing execution within HubSpot
  • Build, test and deploy emails, landing pages, forms, lists, workflows, nurture programs and campaign automation
  • Create segmentation using account attributes, lifecycle stage, engagement and behavioral criteria
  • Maintain lead routing, lifecycle stages, campaign attribution, subscription preferences and data hygiene
  • Build automated Sales follow-up and lead handoff workflows
  • Monitor deliverability, workflow performance and campaign conversion
  • Maintain reporting that gives Marketing and Sales clear visibility into performance and pipeline impact
  • QA campaigns, personalization, links, workflows, forms and tracking before launch

Marketing execution & project management

  • Translate marketing strategy into clear campaign plans, timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate creative resources, agencies and internal stakeholders while remaining accountable for shipping
  • Maintain the marketing campaign calendar and surface dependencies or risks before they affect launch dates
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis and use results to improve the next campaign

Event marketing

  • Own the marketing motion surrounding our key industry events
  • Develop pre-event campaigns to generate awareness and meetings with priority accounts
  • Coordinate targeted dealer, prospect, customer and partner outreach
  • Partner with internal teams and event vendors on event readiness
  • Own post-event follow-up campaigns and lead routing
  • Track event-generated meetings, opportunities and pipeline, and document event performance

Event production logistics, freight and related administrative work are supported by external vendors or other internal resources.

Website & content publishing

  • Publish campaign-related website updates, landing pages, resources, case studies and other content
  • Maintain forms, CTAs, redirects, metadata and tracking links
  • QA website changes on desktop and mobile before they go live
  • Monitor website forms and lead routing so inquiries are captured and reach the right person

PR & executive communications

  • Coordinate press release approvals, distribution and follow-up
  • Maintain media, analyst and industry publication lists, and track coverage and mentions
  • Coordinate executive social content and publishing schedules
  • Repurpose announcements, case studies and thought leadership across channels

Job requirements

We're looking for demonstrated experience, not a list of marketing adjectives. You should have:

  • 3+ years of hands-on B2B demand generation, growth marketing or marketing operations experience, preferably in SaaS, technology or another complex B2B environment — working in tools like HubSpot, Monday, Salesforce and Canva
  • 2+ years working extensively in HubSpot, including personally building workflows, segmentation, email campaigns, landing pages, lifecycle automation and reporting
  • Personally built and launched multi-channel demand generation campaigns from concept through measurement
  • Experience targeting named accounts or defined market segments, and the ability to explain the results those campaigns generated — including meetings, opportunities or pipeline
  • Worked directly with Sales to create lead handoffs, follow-up motions, account activation or outbound campaigns
  • Meaningful experience using AI to improve marketing execution. We will ask what you have built, automated or materially improved with AI, and how you use it in your actual work
  • Willingness to travel to Columbus and to industry events

Automotive experience is helpful, but not required.
